    Description

Roman Steel Lorica Segmentata Body Armor Breastplate
This amazing breastplate is believed to have been introduced in the ranks of the Roman Army during the first century AD and widely used at the height of the Roman Empire. For most, the Lorica Segmentata Armor embodies the Roman soldier.
This replica, designed by Luca Giampadi and made by Windlass Steelcrafts, is superbly crafted of 18-gauge steel. It is a close reproduction of a type of Lorica discovered in Newstead, Scotland, which dates from the second century AD.
