    Description

    1/3 HP PEDISTAL MOUNT FAN MOTOR.  This is a pedestal mount fan motor most often used in movable Pedestal fans.  This motor was actually in a wall mount caged exhaust fan in my workshop.  I seldom used it because the RPM was too fast for the fan blade and it was too noisy.  I finally broke down and purchased 1100 rpm motors (I have two fans) and that seems to be a much better match for the blades I have.  This motor has a 1/2 shaft and the cage mounting bolts are 3 5/8 inches apart which seems to be normal for many Pedestal fans.  The motor is in very good shape and has had little use.  The shaft turns clockwise when facing the shaft and it is not reversable.
